23 sleeps to lift-off!!!
Today Liz and I set off at 9am to wait for the bus that was to take us on our trip for the day. It was late and we stood at the shelter waiting and freezing in the cold wind. Then a rainbow came out, then it faded and then it went right across the sky. Was this a good omen for the day??
Finally at 9.50 the bus arrived and we headed off to Melbourne.
The traffic was not too bad and we arrived at Embroidery House, home of the Embroiderers Guild, Victoria at about 11am. We enjoyed the Exhibition of members works and then went upstairs and had lunch.
While there I got permission to take some photos of the reproduction sampler I embroidered for the Guild. Hopefully the photo will soon be on display on their page, but for now, here it is.
If you are interested in purchasing a copy of the pattern it is available from them at http://www.embroiderersguildvic.org/index.htm
At 2pm we headed off to another Exhibition at Lumina Gallery, then off home, arriving at about 4.30pm.
Bye bye bus!!
